Fig. 1. Lag times for conjugated diene generation in LDL exposed to copper sulfate in subjects receiving placebo, fish oil, flaxseed oil or hempseed oil supplementation. Values are presented as mean ± SEM LDL (100 µg protein/ml) was incubated with 5 µM copper sulfate for 5 hrs at 37°C and monitored continuously at 234 nm for the formation of conjugated dienes. All values were p > 0.05.
