(1643) is an oil on wood by the Dutch artist, Pieter Claesz (1597-1661) who, along with William
Claesz Heda, were considered the leading proponents of the ontbijt or breakfast piece school of
painting centered in Haarlem, the Netherlands. From the collection of the State Hermitage
