About the Cover
On the Cover: As more people survive to elderly ages, nutrition assumes a bigger role in both maintenance of health and medical therapy. See the paper by Sullivan et al. (pp. 683-691). Sculpture of head of an elderly man from Golgoi, Cyprus, circa 2100 years ago, approximately 29 cm in height. Little is known about Golgoi's history except that inhabitants of this inland town were among the earliest to worship Aphrodite who was referred to in ancient texts as Golgia or Kypris.
